It's quite simplistic, thanks God!

It's quite hard to bring back an Old-School classic and make old and new gamers appreciate it, and I tried keeping both perspectives in mind when playing. This game is like the originals, a beat-em up, sometimes in 3D space and other side-scrolling sections. Everything works just fine with the cheesy story and the few enemy types that come in waves.

Visually the game is good looking, great CG cut-scenes and the engine graphics is not bad, and somehow resembled Duke Nukem Forever, I guess it's the shininess of the enemies skin. The audio is so-so, a few duchy band songs and a noticeable lack of strong sound FX. Everything seems too light, when you do something visually great, the audio never catches up to the same level, and everything turns bland, no punch on the punches if this makes any sense.

There are collectibles and they are XXX rated photos of your GF, juvenile but goes well with the motto of the title. The Challenge arenas in other hand is a quite fun distraction from the campaign, and I had fun going through it. There's an exceptional number of extras, including the three Splatterhouse old-school titles, so you get a lot in this package, which balances the shortcomings of the campaign.

I recommend this game if you are looking for something silly and repetitive, I had fun with it.
