Just an overall letdown.

This game had so much potential but it wasn't delivered. It follows the classic games plot with a few new twist and tweaks. The gameplay has vastly changed giving you the control of a hulking savage beast. You would think that would be awesome and brutal right?. Well awesome is highly exaggerating when it comes to this title. Brutal it may be but awesome no. Right off the bat you get thrown in to combat to fight the experiments of dr west. You would think that would be cool and it is after the first 20 mins when you realize its the same thing over and over again. The save points suck and the gameplay is the same. There is really no challenge. The only way this game should have been released is if it were some cheap game on the PSN or Xbox Live. Because with it's starting price of 59.99 your actually getting ripped off. The story is quirky and whack to say the least. It provides no background information for it's characters nor are the characters interesting. It's just running around killing the same looking creatures and doing the same kills with limited weapons that weren't even creative. The overall truth is unless you get this for 10.00 or rent this. I would stay clear because you are bound to get bored within a short time period.
