Ive played many spiderman games back then but this installment was something new for a change. For the first time You can actually play as different spiderman. No I don't mean putting in cheat codes or completing specific conditions to unlock a costume. 4 different spiderman, 4 different worlds, 4 different storylines. Each spiderman has his own kind of setting that represents his world and himself. The spiderman that stood out to me were 2099 and noir spidey. Noir was the newest addition to the spiderman series as far as Ive known.

Going back to what I said about costumes well every spiderman game ive known maybe except some gameboy games and before the ps1 spidey games had it.Its unique how each spiderman had their own set of costumes branching off their own time periods.

Last but not least the levels. Each spiderman had his own way of taking on enemies and progressing through his own level. Amazing spidey is the traditional beat up baddies kind of gameplay, Black spidey is the same except with more intensity, 2099 beats up enemies in a futuristic style and it includes the free falling gameplay as well and my most favorite noir spidey's batman arkham asylum style gameplay.
Every level had spidey on a wild goose chase with bosses varying from different spideys. At the end of each chase an epic battle. I love how the relic pieces give more power to bosses.
