Only worth it if you're a die-hard Spidey fan

Has its moments, but overall is not a fun game. Frustrating, especially in the Noir sections, and is very repetative. I wished the levels would be shorter, just so that I could finish quicker. Not to mention, once you have special abilities in the Ultimate and 2099 dimensions, it's hard to go back to Amazing, which has none. The final battle was frustratingly hard too (in the Amazing section, the rest were easy to moderate), and it took me over an hour to figure out how to beat it.

Of all of the levels, the stand out best was Ultimate Deadpool - very funny, full of nods to the Ultimate comics, and broke the fourth wall several times, which was pretty entertaining.

Cut scenes were only meh worthy, and I'm not a huge fan of the cel-shading (though some people are, so whatever).

Finally, the entire voice cast was phenomenal - every Spider-Man has previously voiced on a different Spider-Man TV series (check Wikipedia here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiderman:_Shattered_Dimensions#Audio ), and all of the villians were great. Plus, Stan the Man Lee is narrating, always a plus.

Overall, this is only for the die hard Spider-Man fans who are willing to put up with several hours of button-mashing. Has it's fun moments, but overall, this isn't worth buying, only renting.
