If you are looking for intense action-packed super hero game, then you are out of luck. This game is more of the light hearted nature. It is not tremendously hard, but it is satisfying. It reminds me of the 2 side scroll-ers, however, this is a 3d world of course. Don;t expect the foes to be true to character as in the comics. No, all foes will join up with Spidey to find out who is was responsible for controlling their minds.
The graphics are not too bad. I was not disappointed . It is not amazing, but it gets the job done. Sound effects, well nothing stood out, but then nothing detracted either. Voice actors were pretty good. I thought the one liners fit Spidey well.
I enjoyed upgrading the webbing and finding out what each upgrade could do. I played multiplayer mode with my daughter...but it seemed that any character that she picked as a side kick was fast then Spiderman, when moving from screen to screen.

A couple of side points....
1) the monsters were just a repeat at each level...just a different color. I think that is the biggest detraction from the total score. They should have mixed it up a little and gotten different monsters with new attacks.
2) Some of these foes would have never joined Spiderman...they hate him!
3) Limited challenge

Despite these detractors, the game is still a lot of fun, especially in multiplayer mode.
