I am disappointed by the way Gamespot reviewed this game.It deserves more than a 4.7! I was really waiting for a Spider man game on the PS2 where you can freely roam.I played this game for a month and I didn't stop and play another game until I finished it.I loved the boss battles which had difficulties that could vary.Playing in the black suit was a very enjoyable experience for me.My favourite bosses were Sandman and Venom.Sandman had something in it to get your brains working fast and Venom just got me sweating! I have played the PS2 version the PC version and the GBA versions from which I think the PS2 version is the best.After finishing the game for me,the fun never ended.I was roaming the cities and what more! The gangs were fun to beat up.The Lizard was one of the best bosses in the game! I would like to see more and more Spider man games like this on the PS2!!
