Decent if flawed conversion.

This game is nearly perfect except for one major flaw, which is that in the "tipoff" that starts each match you cannot hold up on the gamepad and slide tackle the other teams center, and this was a crucial tactic to winning against the CPU in the original game particularly against the best CPU teams.

Instead, you have to wait for the ball to shoot into play BEFORE you can move up on the game pad, otherwise your player will just stand there punching looking really stupid.

It's also disappointing that they have chosen to use the 16 color graphics rather than the 256 color versions that were released for the Amiga CD32 and Amiga 1200's. As a result you will notice dithering used to create the illusion of more color's onscreen.

They've also replaced the original games menu screens and pre-match game screens. Plus more teams have been added to the rosters.

It also appears to be harder to injure players than what it used to be, and most likely this has been done because that's now an achievement in the 360 version.

Not only that, but the sound has had an overhaul. That's not a bad thing since crowd sounds in early 90's games was never outstanding, but it's a shame you cannot get the game in it's original form.

There's an option to use new 3D graphics, but they're pretty ugly and still use the same frames of animation that the 2D game does.
