great game in every way, great visuals, speed is perfect in all situations including massive local multiplayer games.
I REALLY wish that there were better (or at least SOME sort of) crash sounds, cars colliding noises, car scraping the rails noises, jumping noises, SOMETHING. the sound fx are quite lame imho. but the music is really good for this type of game (speaking as a game composer myself). the gameplay is great, although a little bit motion sickness inducing (I'm pretty sensitive to that unfortunately... ugh LoL).
definitely recommended. not a "deep" game, no real storyline per se, but a fantastic arcade style futuristic racer that really gives the feeling of speed.

ok so what else? battle mode is a lot of fun, actually one of my favorite things to do. think of those car racgin shotting destructions movies like mad max... really similar. plenty of fun.
honestly this is three games in 1, the multiplayer or single player racing against other competitors is great, the solo races are great but different goals, and the shooting games are different again, and ALL of them are good.
NOTE: THIS IS A VERY DIFFICULT GAME, don't get put off by how tricky it is to stay on the track without falling :-)
