Most people just don't understand the many differences between this and Pokemon.

User Rating: 10 | Spectrobes: Origins WII
By "unsophisticated mechanics", Gamespot just means to tell everyone that this game isn't hard to master like all the other thousand FPSes and "action" games like Assassin's Creed, with 52 different button maps, and 49 different combinations for each. Instead, this game offers simple button mashing, remote swinging, pose pulling fun. You don't have to be able to solve a Rubik's Cube to play and enjoy it, and no one Spectrobe is better than the other, unless you want it to be. It has a great story, graphics fit for a "next-gen" console like the Wii, and high replay value, mainly because it's just fun enough to play again and again, and a lot of content to keep people busy. I'm still playing it, ever since I got it at release. I'm sure that if you were to buy it, no matter who you are, you'll enjoy it. Those people that say it sucks? They're just tryin' to look cool. And I'm not even going to start about Fossil Fighters.
