Stay far FAR away from Spectre, as it may very well be able to eat away at your sanity.

What it's about: You play as one of 3 differently leveled out space crafts on a tipical level-to-level progression by collecting 4 yellow flags in each level.

My Thoughts: Spectre is...well...not for everyone, including me. You wouldn't find me playing this even if I wanted to waste time for my popcorn to be finished, or even for a 20 second download to complete. Let me explain. In Spectre you get to select 3 different ships, one is Speedy, one is Powerful, and one is Balanced. Each of which look EXACTLY the same. Your primary weapon is a blaster, which unfortunately is only capible of shooting different colored "dodge ball" like spheres. You must collect 4 flags in each level while avoiding other ball shooting space ships that also look like yours. The difficulty to this game is hard, but thats just because of the constant waves of enemies that sometimes surround you. The length isn't 100% known to me, but after about 14 levels, if your still playing this you will most likely want to gouge your eyes out with a fork, but not before you cut your ears off with a knife. Why? Because in this game, sound and graphics are equally horrible! The sound effects are what does it the most, while most of the music isn't too bad, the horrible graphics could quite possibly be harmful to your health as they look like a Twisted Metal game made by the same team behind Pac-Man. The controls are solid enough, thankfully, But the gameplay seems to be missing something, oh yeah, it's called FUN! To some people collecting flags and hoping over triangular shaped space ships is fun, but to me I feel as if this game is meant to just eat away at priceless minutes of my life. As for the plot, well take a look at my score and you'll see what I think about that. For all the 1st-Person Shooter fans out there, stay far FAR away from Spectre, as it may very well be able to eat away at your sanity.
