Game of the Show
umors of E3's demise were greatly exaggerated. The formerly gigantic summit simply cleaned up its act, changed its name to E3 Media & Business Summit 07, and moved from downtown LA to sunny Santa Monica. It lost a lot of weight--about 66,000 people's worth--and packed on a ton of muscle in the form of hundreds of great new games. So which games made the biggest splash at the show? Since E3 is and always has been a glimpse at the future of gaming, the versions of games we see every year are incomplete, and our time with them is usually brief. Remember that the genre awards, platform awards, and Game of the Show aren't necessarily about whether the games will turn out to be good or not. They're about how well the games presented themselves at the show.
Now, let's begin!
