Some games can't be summed up with just one title. No, these special games need subtitles, expository phrases, and perhaps even a lemma to fully encapsulate the wondrous contents of that box on the shelf. The titles of these games will catch your eye, and will continue to catch them for quite a while as you attempt to decipher them.
At first glance it might seem unfair to include an import game in these awards, but this is actually the title of a game that has been translated into English. Well, at least half of it was translated, at any rate.

The Xenosaga series was originally supposed to extend to six games, but it was canceled after the third title hit shelves. Subtitling all of them with phrases from a dour Prussian philosopher couldn't have helped.
Nothing says sci-fi like arbitrary acronyms. It should be noted that this game is conspicuously devoid of Led Zeppelin-related content.
