Legitimately funny games are possibly the rarest games of all. For a wide variety of reasons, the medium of gaming isn't very conducive to humor, partly because games often involve repetitive or scripted actions, while humor requires spontaneity and surprise. Not only do the finalists for Funniest Game of 2006 manage to capture funny, but they do it in a number of different ways, from the subtly clever to the truly absurd. Here they are:
