Microsoft announced a slew of new features for Xbox Live at E3 2011. The company will roll out a new user interface that's fully Kinect enabled this fall. In addition, the entire console will be searchable via Bing, Microsoft's search engine. On the media end of things, the Xbox 360 will be able to play live broadcast TV in the US and is forging partnerships with Sky, Canal+, and Foxtel to air broadcasts from the UK, France, and Australia, respectively. Microsoft also unveiled Kinect Fun Labs, a suite of tools that extend the functionality of the peripheral, which will be available today.

The fact that MS charges its users for Netflix just boggles the mind.

The XBOX just keeps getting further and further away from being a gaming console ... but that is the plan, so I guess bravo MSoft.

Scratch my previous comment. This is absolutely frekin' awesome. I am so getting this for sure... The Wii as it is, is no contender to this.... We'll know for sure tomorrow.

Not to be offensive, but this seems a little like the Mii Channel.
