Year in Review: Q1
2010 kicked off with more details about what we would come to know as the new generation of motion-controlled console games. It also brought with it the shocking news of sudden departures at Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward, which led to a flurry of lawsuits between former employees and publisher Activision Blizzard. Even more surprisingly, Nintendo unveiled its next handheld seemingly out of nowhere: the no-goggles-required 3DS. Watch the video recap for more details.

What happened to Mass Effect 2? Or is it that only games which had problems related to it or its developer were shown in this video?
I loved Mass Effect 2. If they don't give ME2 anything this year, ME3 better win a lot for the series.
Enjoyed the year in review stuff...but can someone explain that Ray Lewis Old Spice ad? Seriously wtf is that all about? Some marketing genius needs to find a new line of work...immediately, preferably in fast food or janitorial services.
@junglemanchild Typo, meant Q2 or Q3. But i was still wrong. mah bad lol feels like it was july :L but still i dont think it deserved to be in it.
Not mentioning ME2 is a bloody travesty... maybe if there was an article instead of just a video they'd have had time for that =/
they sure did forget a bunch of games in this article guess cuz they were pressed for time. still pretty nice articles
Personally, I am looking more forward to 2011, than backward at 2010. While some really great games were released this year, I think that we have some major titles to look forward to next year
It seems like the first quarter was a scandal-heavy one. Big name game companies are doing what every other company does at the begining of the year. Lay-offs.
Respawn entertainment should work on the next MoH. Seeing as how they did in the past and how they did CoD4, MoH2 could very well replace the CoD.
The year started off really great. I just got my PS3 and was mostly catching up but kept my eye on the new stuff coming out. Dont have an Xbox (and didn't want to get the PC version cause I specifically got a console to finally make the switch) but even i was excited about a game like Mass Effect 2 coming out, love games with the depth that it has. Heavy Rain started the year off in February with the suprise hit of the year; Bayonetta was another fun game. I know people had issues with it, but I thought Dante's Inferno was pretty interesting. Mega Man 10 was probably one of the best downloadables too. Also, I'm not big on sports games like i used to be, but I thought MLB 10: The Show was pretty good as well.
