Check out the new trailer for 2K Games' Dubai-set tactical combat shooter, in development for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
Wow. I must say this looks more impressive than I thought it would. The deciding factors on how well this game does depends on the graphics and gameplay. I believe the story will do just fine. It looks like it will have an impact and this game I think will score around a 7.5-8. It should be interesting to see how the multiplayer pans out, also. This looks like something more than you would expect and looks like it should be interesting.
This looks impressive. I just hope there are no delays on release. It would be great to get a decent shooter in the "dead of summer" rather than having to wait until November when all the other games come out **==
I wish we could have more stealth action based games rather than all these same old COD style group warfare games... I am so bored of this same old same old.
The music they chose for this so appropriate it just invokes the feel of a foreign blown out city. Better than that cookie cutter music that would have been normally used.
@talaltalaltalal It`s simple: post-apocalyptic games are popular right now (Fallout, Homefront, Metro 2033, Bioshock etc.)
this game looks very good. i like the whole sand element and it being 3rd person, i like those games better, but yes, i will keep my eye on this one.
im surprised how so many people are saying this game is gunna suck. looks like a cool new gameplay mechanic (the sand) and it so far sounds like its gunna have a cool interesting story. and what i saw of gameplay it looks pretty good.
i remember this series on the PS1...i boght all of them back then because they were 10 dollars each and they all really sucked.
all i can say is, sniping off the tallest building on earth = amazing. Otherwise this game will prob be gay. @H8Breeder1, it's not that great, i've seen way way better trailers and even better cutscenes.
i probably gonna rent it because of all the other crappy games in the series cus i dont trust it just yet
It still holds promise, they have the time to make it work, the concept is good, lets wait and see if the story will make sense...
Damn. Im just gunna take a guess, but when this sandstorm hits, im guessing maybe a civil war takes place, because government is lost, so they may just fight for food, water, land etc... or maybe other countries come in and take advantage of what has happened, and these people are almost a resistance ...
nice , never thought i would see a post apocalyptic dubai . Its always post apocalyptic washington, NY or chicago. Anyway the game looks really neat but im not going to have expect too much from it. Sometimes u anticipate a game soo much taht when u do finally play it , u feel rather underwhelmed.
What the hell is going on in this game first there is a sand storm then there is people shooting at other people then there is people jumping off of buildings. Then not to mention the horrible song there chose for this trailer.
