A game from a genre that is slowly fading away.

Space Rangers 2 is not a game for everyone. If your not a fan of the slower text based RPG then you better look elsewhere.

The game follows the usual space sim storyline, with you fighting the bad guys, while trading and some more trading to make money. The game keeps it original with interesting dialog, and a fairly well involved campaign.

Graphically, don't expect much. The game is built for fans of a good storyline, not fans of a game that does'nt look 10 years old.

Sure I could have gone more in depth about the ships, and the story, and the missions... But when the game is this much of an eye-sore (not to mention a few crash problems with certain cd drives) its not worth my full reviewing effort.

So if your a fan of the classic Text based RPG you will LOVE this game. If you are in the 90% of gamers who are'nt... move along.
