Fun and challenging.
At first the controls take a while to get used to, especially winching, but after a while it's not so bad. The game can be extremely difficult, I didn't beat it until 6 months after I got it. Running out of ammo or gas was always a hassel, not to mention AA guns and missiles. I remember having just upgraded from a SNES, the explosions and whatnot really amazed me, at the time the graphics were pretty spiffy.
I think the sheer pleasure of flying around blowing sh*t up was what really drew me to this game. I no longer own it, but would buy it again if I ever saw it, if only to relive the memories.
