Almost getting close to the n64 version but it has some flaws that makes the whole game feel like a glitch.

- Difficulty:
- Easy
- Time Spent:
- 10 Hours or Less
- The Bottom Line:
- "Just plain fun"
Intro:
South Park on Ps1 has a story about a giant green comet headed towards South Park and spawning enemies to attack the town as well. 3rd graders: Cart-man, Kyle, Stan and Kenny must stop these evil beings from taking over the town, along with getting help from Chef.
Game Play:
Simple really, the Bosses are really easy to beat, but the last boss only takes one throw of a Philip or Terrance grenade and in a few seconds... HE'S DEAD! what the, just one! what a small battle that was. The cut-scenes in the game look like someone hooked in the Nintendo 64 version into a VCR and recorded all the cut-scenes from the game cartridge and digitized them for the PlayStation version and they simply could not use cut-scenes to match the actual graphics for the Ps1 version. Mul-ti-player was not much fun either as it could get boring in a minute.
Graphics:
The character models are solid for 32-bit since the PlayStation's power engine can go that far, one thing that they could've fixed though is the Lip-syncing it's like they hardly move their mouths at all, from when your picking your character on the player select screen for story mode to hitting characters on Mul-ti-player. Second is that Chef really, REALLY could've had improvement as well, he looks so skinny that it just makes me cringe.
Controls:
Easy stuff like putting butter on Pancakes. You can use the D-pad to move your character. Also, you can use Dual Shock joysticks. Yeah, they secretly can let you use the Dual Shock joysticks. It's really easy on controls, X for jumping, Square for shooting, Triangle and Circle for switching weapons.
Lasting Appeal:
I can't give it a perfect score, but a 5 out of 10 for this version. It's decent though and the game just needed a few problems fixed.
