E3 2012: Become the fifth member of the South Park gang in this trailer for South Park: The Stick of Truth.
This honestly looks great, i cant wait for it. Provided its a single player title and not an MMO, i dont dig MMO's.
Looks cool, but with no view of the interface and a couple shots of potential gameplay that looks like a turn based attack system...
Gonna hold off until reviews hit.
Obsidian is making it, Matt and Trey are directly involved. I have high hopes!
@xxYetterxx Obsidian has a long history of bugged games and "meh" storyline endings. People can blame it on harsh timelines and lack of resources all they want, but there's only so many times that excuse flies before you have to accept that maybe Obsidian is lacking something fundamental in their game design.
Personally, I'd love to see this game turn out great. A South Park RPG sounds amazing. But I won't be buying it until I find out what sort of job Obsidian ended up doing on it.
It's on PS3 and PC... why would Microsoft show it at their conference?
Is Nintendo seriously the only console maker who knows how to do a press conference?
Wasn't at all hyped for this game until I saw the trailer. I'm a big South Park fan, I now really hope this game is awesome.
Kinda sad that this game and Trey & Matt's appearance was the coolest part of Microsoft's press conference!
Almost half of that trailer WAS gameplay footage. In an interview a few months back, Parker and Stone said that the game was being designed to look just like the show; to the point that spectators of someone playing the game would mistake it for the show, as well as be just as entertained as the player.
