Unlike most games that get pushed back I think your right. With as hands on Matt and Trey are I think this will be one of those games talked about as much as the show itself.

It's being written and designed by Obsidian, and has Matt and Trey working closely with it, unlike other licensed games. It won't win anything from video game journalists, but it could be one of the best games of the year.

I doubt it will be THE GOTY, that will more than likely go to games like Bioshock Infinite or possibly Tomb Raider. I do have confidence that this will be the best South Park game ever though, if that's saying anything.

I think that the best case scenario for this game is that it becomes a cult favorite, eventually becoming a beloved cult classic for ages to come.

Not sure it will be seen as a GOTY contender, but I certainly think it could be that game that comes out of nowhere to sell decent numbers and be met with critical acclaim, and gets into a lot of top 5/10 lists.
