I expected more out of this game, but it brought me nuthin' but pain, misery, and dissapointment.

User Rating: 7 | SoulCalibur IV PS3
This is my first review in several months, and yet I thought Soulcalibur IV would be much better than SCIII. But I feel as though I had been foolin' myself all this time. Apart from the clean graphics and good set of char-acters, this game didn't have a lot to offer.

This story continues with the two swords, Soul Calibur and Soul Edge, and newcomers come along such as Hilde, Algol (final boss), Darth Vader (my favorite Star Wars character), and his secret Apprentice (the reason I acciden-tally broke my glasses). Also, the classics come back for one more battle in history, such as Siegfried, Nightmare, Taki, Mitsurugi, Kilik, Xianghua, Tira, Zasamalel, Setsuka, etc. Additionally, for the first time ever, you can play this game online PS3 style. And there's this new mode called "Tower of Lost Souls', which is another mode that only allows you to fight various opponents by ASCENDING or DESCENDING the tower and unlock other treasures. But, to me, it's no better than the CotS mode from SCIII.

Overall, Soulcalibur IV is a somewhat great game, but not all that great. I can't wait for Tekken 6, and I hope it's better than this. I preordered the damn thing at Gamestop and it comes out in a month. It better not disappoint me.
