Very nice game, with very nice graphics and complex but very well explained battle system, though test for your skills.
It has a good tutorial and many mods of playing, including:
- a 'history" mode (Tales of the Souls) where you play through a character trial for getting the Soul Edge;
- a mission mode where you fight your opponents under special conditions;
- a League and a Tournament;
-a customized character mode, where you can build one and fight through a kind of campaign.
You can also build weapons, missions and other items, which you go unlocking as you go playing.
The richness of Soul Calibur lies in its complex battle system which allows for a lot of possibilities. You have not to be just quick, skilled and fast but also smart to beat the CPU in the normal dificulty, its surely challenging.
