Gameplay is nice.Button mashing yield u nothing its propably the second most technically advanced game after virtua fighter.The sword action is superb. Every character has its own sword and moves. Different combinations yield different results.Rotating and then pressing a button or pressing and holding the directional button followed by the action button yield different moves. Counter attacks are also cool but timing is important.
Graphics are preety good .Lots of different environments , ring is limited and u can lose the battle after being thrown out of the ring. Some water falls seneries, inner industrial areas , on floating wood logs, and many more.
You can choose a single character and play its story . There is an arena mode: play in certatain arena battle.There are also tournament matches let u qualify through tournament matches to become world championAlso there is chronicles of souls : it`s a whole lot new game , its more like a strategy game. In this make ur own character and play its story.And a bit more modes the best is perhaps is to make ur own characters . A lot of options to choose from while making ur character . Sounds are preety good , swords whipping sound striking sound are all well done.
Its a pretty good game for any 1 on 1 fan.
