A pretty well made game. At least worth a rental or two.

User Rating: 7.8 | SoulCalibur II GC
The Good:
-The combat system is well made and relatively easy to learn.
-Excellent graphics on the player models, and the environments are also done quite well.
-A pretty good variety in characters.
-Plenty of game modes to unlock.
-It's got Link...Link is AWESOME.
-Sound effects are very realistic depending on where you are. For example, if you're in a cave, everything will echo.
-Different fights in the story mode offer unique challenges to keep the combat mixed and different.

The Bad:
-The combat feels a bit restricting compared to something like Super Smash Brothers Melee. When it comes to actually moving, it feels slow paced.
-The spoken dialog is incredibly lame, and Links victory cheers aren't any better.
-The entire story mode doesn't have any cut scenes. It's all text messages. Also, once you beat story mode, you unlock extra missions, but....
-At that point you feel like you've seen everything the game has to offer. Fights start to become repetitive.
-Half the game's characters are girls..........hitting girls isn't my thing.

Players looking for a good fighting game will get some good hours out of Soul Caliber II. I personally think there are better fighthing games out there, but this was still a game worth playing.
