Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny with a few missing pieces

User Rating: 8.5 | SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny PSP
Soul Calibur : Broken Destiny is a great game. The game is just what you would expect from project soul. The addition of two new characters one of those being Kratos from god of war. However the game feels uncomplete.soul calibur is still my favorite fighting game ever so this review may lean toward soul calibur but just bare with me.

There is lots of good and some bad with this game. Broken destiny has three inital game modes. Quick play, the gauntlet, and the trials. This game has no real single player campaign. This is a problem. The gauntlet is kind of a single player campaign but is basicly a long and stupid training mission. The story is rediculous and was so hard to fallow along that i just gave up trying to care about what was going on. The traials are just long strings of matches but together kind of like a arcade mode but with no final boss or vage story. Quick play is just quick play pick a character and play. Of course there is a practice mode.

There is a host of characters to choose form in this game. Of course you can play as all the classic characters form previous soul calibur games. There are two new additions in this version of soul calibur, Kratos, and Dampiare. (Sorry for all the spelling errors somthings wrong with the space bar). The game plays great. It feels just like playing soul calibur game. The game dose feel a little slower but its not a problem.

This is the best looking game on the psp right now. The graphics feel like im playing soul calibur two again. Character modles look great and the stages look even better. There is also a very extensive character creator that is really fun to play around with. Overall this game is pure enjoyment. Dont get me wrong the game has its flaws but this is still an excllent game. In my opion the best fighter on the psp. Shame on Tekken.
