ShiShiHaato posted...You know, even with only 10 of each level of spells, that's still an insanely high combination level if I read it correctly. You're going to inherit all of your spells but only 10 of each type and level. for example, I'm aiming for a high rank ice sword. I have 10 of each level.
10 Ice sword become 5 ice sword *
15 ice sword * become 7 ice sword **
17 ice sword ** become 8 ice sword ***
18 ice sword *** becomes 9 advanced ice sworD
9 adv. ice sword becomes 4 adv ice sword *
4 adv ice sword * becomes 2 adv ice sword**
2 adv ice sword** becomes 1 adv ice sword ***
in short, if you really do get 10 of every spell and every rank, you could buff your ENTIRE spell loadout up to advanced rank three stars. This is assuming that advanced spell fusions use only two spells per fusion.
I'm hoping spells stop at 2x3* (1 advance spell). Simply because if advanced spells went up to 3* as well... dear god making them will be a pain. If we have this many spells in the demo, I'm scared of how many are in the full game.
Also making advance summon spells? It was enough of a pain to make 2 versions of each to make 1 advanced version lol.
I feel your pain. I think it will probably cap at advanced rank three, and that the real issue will be that there's a lot of spells that will only be attainable through crazy fusions, like that poison golem, for instance. The upper rank one that breathes poison. Is nuts to make, and I think the demo wanted to show us how hard we'd have to work for even crazier spells. or maybe there's one rank above advanced, but has no star upgrades and is the "ultimate"form of a spell. And maybe we'll need tons of them. I'm sure we've only seen the to of the iceberg of this games spells. We probably won't even know them all by the time the US version comes out.
