Dying way too often?

    I seem to be having trouble completing even the easiest of bosses. Last night I was fighting the carriage boss on the innocence pact and I must have died over ten times. Am I missing something? The missions are only one star in difficulty but I'm dying more than I feel I should be. My life level is 11 and my magic level is 7, is that the problem or should I be fuzing more or something?

    My education: BA in history, MLA in Liberal Arts (social studies spec)

    you are getting hit way to often, try to get hit less often
