Now this is not going to be one of my normal reviews since this is not a normal game by today's standards.

This Genesis collection features all the games we loved as a kid and of course they look better now since they are all in 720p. What is great about this collection is the trophies. Each game has a trophy or two which you need to get to unlock extra goodies in the game. Not only do you get the trophy on your gamercard but you also get the unlocked item which could be an interview or an arcade game.


The sounds in all of these games are the original sounds and the graphics are the same but seem a little touched up for HD.


Each game shows a history and artbook. The history section shows the date it was released and what the game is about. There is also a "Did you know?" area which tells you interesting facts about either the game or how it was created.


For example: Did you know that Michael Jackson was originally supposed to do the music in Sonic the Hedgehog 3?


For anyone who loved games from the late 80's to the mid 90's should seriously pick this game up. For $30 it's an amazing deal for so many classics.
