Why did this game get such negative reviews?
You actually need to play the game for a few hours and get stuck into it. My friends bought this game and they thought that most of the reviewer sites that gave it rubbish reviews were wrong about it and they thought at first, not so good but then they spent a few hours playing it and they really got the hang of the Werehog stages and thought they added more variety instead of just running in a straight line heading for the goal like you would in any other Sonic game.
I'm giving this a 7.5 because the Day Time and Night Time stages were all great fun but they could have added more stages don't you think? And not them little ones that only take a minute to complete. Just more like more areas to Rooftop Run. Well at least Sega aren't afraid to try something new unlike Nintendo who have more or less stuck with the same plot in trying to defeat Bowser and rescue Princess Peach.
