Sonic Spinball is an old Genesis classic released in 1993. I loved this game so much, and this is one of the best platforming experiences ever. In this game, you must help Sonic save animals from the Pinball fortress and collect 15 chaos emeralds. There are 5 stages, with 3 in each.

The game is one of the most addictive ever. The game is challenging, well, too challenging, and that means a lot of replay value fun. The B button activates the left flipper, and the A buttton activates the right flipper. You can also jump in the game when you're not in pinball mode.

Speaking of which, when you enter the bonus stage, you'll find characters from the comics, such as Sally, etc. The bonus stage is fun, but because you have no control over the pinball's tilt, and since the pinball will frequently fly around, it's difficult to beat the bonus stage.

Graphically, the agem is decent, though not as good as other Genesis games. One problem I have with Sonic's sprites are that when he collects a chaos emerald, he smiles, but his mouth looks like his muzzle in color.

The music is amazing! The first stage's music is amazing and kicks butt! The audio in the game is better then decent. The pinball physics definitly add on to the game's success.

Sonic sure plays a mean pinball, and the game is a gem for platforming fans. There is no way to turn a game like this down, it's too addictive. Overall, this is one of the Genesis games you need to play.
