It was a instant classic before and it definitely is still a classic now.

This game has everything you'd want in an arcade game, fun colorful somewhat easy levels, boss battles, blissfully simple game play, and just a fun game through and through. The only con about this game is a somewhat lackluster story line, if you even want to call it that but the game definitely is still a lot of fun, strong story line or not. It provides you with a good two hours of entertainment even if you're not a Sonic fan. I'm not and I still thought this game was really fun and every aspect of this game is really enjoyable, especially the bonus levels and boss battles. This game is definitely worth the 400 microsoft points and you're not taking any risk at all in buying it. This game is just fun and I promise you won't regret it. Also, for all you achievement junkies out there, the full 200 points are easily achievable and you can get all 200 in less than an hour if you're good enough and know what you're doing. Anyways, all in all this game is a classic, fun for any age and just everything you'd expect from an arcade class like Sonic the Hedgehog. I highly recommend this game and you should try it out, it's definitely a bargain and worth your time.
