Giving this game a 6,5 is the only inconsistency here, you will find none in the game, as gamespot claims.

It is not perfect, no game really is nowadays. The controls require some practice that, after some time spend on Sonic 4, will begin to give bak it's reward.

Some people complain about that, What do you expect?. Everything being given from the very beginning? do exactly the same thing you did in the last Sonic on the SEGA Genesis?. Well, I'm sorry, we are talking about returning to the authentic Sonic Spirit here and, at the same time, offering a new challenge.

Graphics are just beautiful, soundtrack is among the best on any Sonic tittle to date, bonus levels are a mixture of classic Sonic 1 rotational labyrinth with a touch of innovation to make it feel fresh, the controls are perfectly responsible and the game is FAST, maybe the people who played this and accuses the game of being slow should learn the difference between "slow" and "my skills are so poor I can't do a proper speed-run".

A bit expensive? yes, no argument there. But if you love The classic 16 Bit Sonics and the Portable ones you'll find no disappointment here. Period.
