I actually feel kinda stupid writing a review for an old game... AN OLD GAME THATS AWESOME!

Sega's mascot is back! Coming off the game Sonic 2, now Sonic 3. Deeper, better graphix, very much improved graphics, and more. I played this game when I was a little kid, but when I play it one more time for the Genises, it goes on and on. Its a very fun game that will keep you enertained for a long time. Unlike sonic 2, you can this time save, try out tails, including a "speed dash" when sonic and tails rolls into a ball and goes really fast. ITs a huge improvement from the 2nd. The game includes about 8 stages, all pretty much easy and challenging together. One stage you might have trouble is the 4th, carnival. I had the exact same trouble if you did, because of that TRAP! just move your controller up and down.. yeah... I am a long time sonic fan, and this game got me started! If you want the ultimate 2D action game, this should be recommended to almost anyone.
