This game is just as good as #1, if not better, and I only say that because you can finally save your game! Hooray!

OK, now for the review...

This game is very, very good. It can hold many files, you can choose if you want to be Sonic, Tails, or both, (I always choose Tails because he can fly :P) it has many challenging and unique levels, (including bonus stages and bonus levels) new shields, new bosses, and it is just a downright awesome game.

Also, there is something you can do if you have the game Sonic & Knuckles. If you put Sonic & Knuckles into your Genesis, then Sonic the Hedgehog 3 into Sonic & Knuckles, you get Sonic & Knuckles 3, which is exactly like Sonic the Hedgehog 3, but you can play as Knuckles too, and there are a TON of new levels to play!

Once again, I recommend this game to anyone with a SEGA Genesis. And if you Don't have one, look at my review for Sonic the Hedgehog 1 to see how to play it on PC, XBox, or Play Station 2. Thank you for reading!:D
