It's still one of my favourite games ever!
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is as fast as any other Sonic game released so far, and it doesn't disappoint anyone, not to mention it's the first Sonic game to introduce the Spin Dash, one of Sonic's most important moves. The zones in this game are great as well, such as the Chemical Plant zone (which involves a level inside a chemical plant), Casino Night zone (which involves a casino/pinball themed level), and Metropolis zone (A level full of machinery and some screws which you use to run up on). All of these levels are great, and they definatly have the Sonic feel in them. You can also play as Tails in this, but he can't fly in this one so he's pretty much like Sonic in this.
The graphics arn't quite as sharp as the first Sonic game, but they still have a good Sonic feeling to them. The sounds are great, as so is the music (there's no way anyone could not play along with the Emerald Hill zone theme tune, that's how catchy these tunes are!)
Overall, this Sonic game is a must have for everyone. It's still one of my favourite games ever. If you truely want to see Sonic as his best, then make sure this is one of the games you try out. Don't miss this Sonic experience out, you'll regret it for the rest of your life.
