Best Sonic game!

Everyone says that Sonic 3 & Knuckles(a game that appears when you put Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles into the Genesis at the same time, using the Lock-on feature) is the best Sonic game. But, in my opinion, the best Sonic ever made was Sonic the Hedgehog 2. All the other Sonic games are based on this one. As an example, I can mention Cassino Night, that reappears in many Sonic games with other names(Night Carnival, Carnival Night)
This game has about the same history of its predecessor: Sonic is fighting Eggman to save Mobius. The history did not change, but the formula was upgraded. It is still the same: running and running, but the gameplay was boosted, the new stages are bigger and better, the graphics are brighter and the sounds even more awesome. And a new character was introduced: Miles Tails Prower, or just Tails. He is a genteel fox that can fly, using his 2 tails, as his name implies.
This a game that enjoys anyone, at any time. What are you waiting to play it?
