Huge improvement!

Sonic Rivals 2 is absolutely amazing. It's fun, it's fast and there's so much more new things. Now there are battles every second act which means you won't get tired from playing races over and over. The signature moves have also been improved. Now you can use it by filling up a bar. You fill the bar by getting rings and attacking enemies. The story isn't that great, but it's better than the one in Sonic Rivals. The music has been improved and the boss fights are better. The last boss is kind of easy though. There are still cards in this game to collect. The way you collect them in this game is better than the way in Sonic Rivals. You have to have performed certain requirements to unlock the cards. The one thing I don't like about this game is that you need to play multiplayer to get some cards. This means those that don't have someone to play with cannot get those cards by themselves. Other than those small problems this game is quite incredible. It's one of my favourite Sonic games and is quite different from the rest. There's also 4 new characters for story mode. This game's not for everyone, but I'd definitely recommend it.
