A fun little game with great fan service but far too short
This game is flawed I can admit but it is bashed too much by critics. If you are a Sonic fan I think you will get a little bit of fun out of this even if you think this game is bad . The music is terrific, Suits the fast paced gameplay very well and just "brightens up your day" its cheerful music that some people find annoying but I disagree and think its wonderful. The controls are pretty bad unfortunately. You will constantly run into walls when you turn tight corners but each character ha different abilities. Sonic is the fastest, Knuckles can float etc and its fun to use characters you know from the Mega Drive era in a 3D racing game. The graphics are all polygon's but they look OK for a Saturn game. As said before the game is painfully short, You will be able to beat it in about 2 hours or even less if you are more skilled. Its not just a simple race, you can take short cuts and find chaos emeralds in all the stages so its not just the same 3 laps every single time.
Overall this is a fun game if you want a short, easy game to play and for Sonic fans its good fan service. But the controls are bad and the game is too short so it loses quite a lot from that so its in the 6.8 - 7.0 zone
