I havent liked a sonic game since the first one

Well I just downloaded the demo on PS3 today, i thought that while it was a lot of fun, there were times when his response to a button press was delayed somewhat. I also noticed that he couldn't jump very high,there weren't very many enemies around either, which made it a little too easy. over all it kind of reminded me of sonic the hedgehog episode 4 game that came out not long ago. not bad, but not great either, just.. ok, i guess.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles was just the epitome of sonic. I wish they'd look back at that game, how good it was, and make a true sequel to it. Was so disappointed in Sonic 4 episode 1 (episode 1?!). Nevertheless, this looks like a good 3D sonic game, seeing city escape from SA2 revamped brought a smile to my face

Can't wait for the demo to come out for Xbox 360. I'll probably play it OVER and OVER and OVER and--

finally after all these years a good sonic games for the retro fans (like me) and modern fans.

I really liked sonic adventures 2. I even remember the city escape music which was tight. Raising ciao was one of my favorite things to do

I really hope Casino Nights is in there, its my favorite sonic level of all time.

Here are the levels I hope to be in the final version... Stardust Speedway (Bad Future or Present) Final Rush (SA2) Mystic Cave zone (BUT NO PITTT! NO PIT!!!!) Scrap Brain Zone Marble Zone Emerald Coast Spring Yard Zone Star Light Zone Emerald Coast Metallic Madness And most importantly... Radical Highway. But seriously, if they made a Sonic game that long... I'd be happy... then I can enjoy the awesomeness for even longer.

Great that they showed no 3DS footage, thats exactly what i wanted from a 3DS video. :(

Right now, I have so much nostalgia coming back. this is the sonic game I was waiting for.

I wonder what levels is everyone most hoping for? Everyone must be really excited that we are going to be seeing some of our favourite classic level fully remade in HD. :D

I hope they have chemical plant zone from sonic 2, that was awesome blasting through those tubes. Also I hope they include casino nights.

Dam this looks absolutely amazing. Every bit more I see of sonic get me more and more excited. I loved colours, but this looks much much better as I get to play as the original amazing sonic in HD.

you can see that they put their heart and soul into this sonic game. this is a game made from love of sonic and gaming.

Wow, this sonic has me blown away. the 2d-3d concept is marvelous. And when he mentioned they would include the dreamcast sonic games. SONIC ADVENTURE 2 is what came to my mind. And that is the last game that played. I really am considering this :)

Looks great and all, but geez, has it really been 10 years since a canon Sonic game has had a story that had Tails or Knuckles as selectable story characters instead of just short little playable parts...????

I'm loving how clueless the guy is in the stream. At the end of the modern video section, he says: "I've noticed the license plate of the Truck is GUN. Now guns you don't normally think of in Sonic's world, but I guess it's appropriate in Sonic a gun is a.." That guy doesn't even know Sonic and he seems to be giving the review to this preview. Any dedicated sonic fan could tell you what "GUN" is...

I'm all for the classic...I really hope they do alot with sonic3 and knuckles...like perhaps have it unlocked as an achievement

man I feel like crying..finally a good sonic game that goes back to the classic formula that made it so special. Oh yeah and he actually looks fast in this one not like in sonic 4 when he had 100kg's strapped on his back..

I finally found out why so much information has been released so far away from the release date. A demo. It'll probably come out on the exact day that Sonic 1 came out. If my memory serves me, it's the 23. Is it?

Finally looks like they've answered the fans prayers, this game looks immense! Gonna love playing back through Green Hill zone as classic sonic in full HD, and then City Escape looked awesome with modern Sonic, but the classic version was something else

@CrazyLegs87 - Yeah, you're right. In a thread in System Wars there are mindless haters hating on this. It really is mindless and moronic. Sonic just cant win. Haters will hate on it just because it has Sonic in the title. It could be the best game ever made and they would still hate on it. It's pathetic.

Gun is the military group how do the developers not know that... but other than that city escape looks awesome along that there are bo gimmicks!
