Best 3D Sonic Game Since Sonic Adventure 2

User Rating: 8.5 | Sonic Generations X360
Sonic Generations realy goes back to its orignal routes at last, Even though they said that with Sonic Unleashed, then you find out they stupidly put in the werehog and with Sonic Colours (Although good) they put in the Colour Whisps which killed the main aspect of the game.
Thankfully, after 20 years Sega has released a Sonic game true to it's routes with Sonic Generations putting Classic and Modern Sonic together they must save the space-time and restore all the worlds back to normal.

You'll come across similar acts from all the generations like Megadrive, Saturn, Gamecube, Dream cast and 360/PS3, Battling in places like Green hill zone from the first sonic game and City Escape from Adventure 2.
You can play all levels as both sonics and play it different ways to reach the end of the act, There are 2 acts in total, Act 1 will have you play as Classic Sonic as you run and spin your way to the end in 2D prospective, He want be able to lock on or pull of fancy moves as he never learnt any of that back in his days, But in act 2 were you play as modern sonic you'll be in the 3D prospect of the game were the camara is behind, Playing as Modern Sonic is a blast as it's super fast, Hitting the X button to go even faster and tapping the L or R shoulder buttons to quick step out of the way, Modern sonic and Slide, Lock on, Ring dash ect from all his 3D sonic games.
Once you beaten all acts in each era you must aqure the keys to battle the bosses, To obtain the keys you must do a series of challenges, These can be as simple as reaching the end in a certain time or racing against some of sonics pals or his doppleganger, Some can be fun but "Making" you play em so you can advance makes it feel like a chore than fun challengers that you dont mind doing, But they do give you a ton of different types to try out

The graphics are awesome, One of the best looking sonic games thus far, The bright colours and smooth animations make it look devinve, Even going as speed of sound as Modern Sonic still keeps it up without crashing or jiggering, It captures the enitre sonic series perfecticly in every way and makes you think "Thats what the act would look like back in 92" Unlike the terrible graphics of the game titles Sonic The Hedgehog, The graphics will hold up and you wont fall to your death because the game wanted to freakout on you when you went in Sound Barrier.
The music and sound is aweosme to, With sonics cool talking style funky remixed music makes playing all the levels all the more fun, Dispite of Sonics little sidekick Tails who's voice sound pathetic and an a tenstion seeker the sound is'nt all that bad. You'll hear simlar music like Escape From The City, which is all time fave, Saddly you wont hear all the best songs like Live and Learn or In his World, But ypu cant ask for to much

Sonic Generations will take a good 5 hours to complette but you can add acouple of more hours on top if you want to clear all the challengers and get S ranking all the acts, But the main story is saddly short and makes you think "Why did'nt they put in more acts" thats right, you really needed to put in more acts, If you picked up the limited edition you can play Casino act but i realy hope more will come out as DLC's in the near future.

If you want a sonic rush get Sonic Generations, There's nothing to fear, Sega has done well in keeping the true route as you found in older games bacj in the 90's and made them awesomley fun to play.
