I only got this for Sonic CD and Vectorman 1 & 2.

Sonic Gems Collection is a compilation of Sonic games from the past. It includes 9 games right off the bat, and 2 more can be unlocked. There's also a museum, which features alot of screenshots and illustrations. As for the games themselves, let's go through them one by one. Sonic the Fighters is a fighting game containing Sonic characters. It was an arcade game from 1996. I honestly never played it until now, and I didn't think much of it. I'm not into fighting games anyway. Sonic CD. Now that's more like it! This game is the reason I got this collection. Although I never actually owned a Sega CD, I borrowed one from this guy I knew at the time, and he had this sonic game for it. I was blown away, I tell you. Sonic CD is represented well in this collection, although for some reason the credits are absent. I also love the music. It's the North American version, but it was edgy, and I never heard anything like it at the time. I still haven't, to be perfectly honest. Sonic R is a racing game developed by Travelers Tales. This was for the Sega Saturn, which I did not own, and I haven't played this until now. It's somewhat addictive, but it's easy, there's only five tracks to choose from, and the songs are annoying at best. I'm a big fan of Travelers Tales, but this game disappointed me. There's six Game Gear Sonic games in this compilation, and none of them are worth playing. The unlockable games are Vectorman and Vectorman 2. These are also represented well in this collection, except it's hard to shoot diagonally because of the controllers d-pad. I'm not using the joystick on a 2-D game. What am I? Crazy? Stupid? Moronic? I think not. In closing, I only got this for Sonic CD and Vectorman 1 & 2, and I don't feel that it was a mistake, so if you feel the same way I do, go ahead and pick this up.
