Sonics first journey into the RPG universe is fun, but I agree partly with Gamespot: Doesn't live up to its potential

I've heard.... mixed reviews for Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, some of which are good, others horrible, others, good, but not great. I, as a long time Sonic fan, must agree with the third. Sonic Chronicles is after an attack on Eggmans latest creation, the Egg Carrier, the huge ship falls to the ground, and blows up, leaving everyone to believe Eggman has died. Sonic takes a world-round trip, and returns to Green Hill to find out: Knuckles has been kidnapped!! To avoid too many spoilers, I'll stop there. Anyway, This is a fun RPG, I hear Bioware is good with this kind of game, and I wasn't lied to. This is a good RPG, you have to admit that. Now, at the beginning, the story seems to go slow, but if you can play past chapter 5, it gets really good. One thing that confused me was all the talk about perfect chaos and such, so, you have to play Sonic Adventure for this to make sense. I like the exploration and environments, and the graphics are really good for a DS game. I also like how this game fully sets up the sequel and now I'm psyched for that. The credits are also funny. One thing that disappointed me, and backs up the "Doesn't live up to potential" part, is: once you're done, you start all over! You even have every thing you ended with!! Now, this will seem cool at first, like: "Oh, I'll blow right through this game the second time!" But "Blowing through" the game gets boring. Mainly because the enemies don't level up with you, so you will win most, if not all your battles before the ambush is over! This gets repetitive and boring. The bottom line is: This game is really good the first time through, and a great RPG, but I'd rent it, or use all three files for the first time through, because the second time is rather boring and way too easy.
