omg, this game is horrible
the controls are terrible. they're all clunky, and the game has horrible lag, which make the controls feel slow. this game needs better controls PRONTO!!!!!!
the combat is worse than ever imaginable. it's madd slow, and put together horribly. all the characters have horrible and useless moves.
the music is repetitive, annoying, and just plain bad. the music is worse than in sonic r. that's how bad it is! the graphics are really bad. even for a ds. the graphics are similar to an early ps1 game because the graphics lack detail and are very blocky and stuff. in fact, the graphics have no detail at all. not something you would expect to be in a game made in 2008.
and there's a chao garden in this game! YAAAAAAAAY!!!! wait.... WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! the chao garden is barely a chao garden! what happened to taking care of the chaos, man? it's just another mistake that sega made when programming this game. PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!
the cutscenes are useless and pointless and just terribly corny. the cutscene made me laugh at how corny they were!
the only good thing about this game is that it's the first sonic rpg ever made.
this game is just a total knock-off of Megaman X Command Mission, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Zelda Phantom Hourglass, and Pokemon Ranger. and the plot basically steals from Super Mario Bros and Rise of the Robots together! this game is a stealer and a knock-off!
if you are wondering what i did with the game, i'll tell you. after keeping this game for 3 days, i traded it in, and i kept the case at my house. i took all the instruction booklet things and the cover of the box and put it in an active compost bin. i used the burned paper as potting soil. and no, i'm not kidding. see? i helped the earth!
so, here's the good and bad stuff.
the good: first sonic rpg ever, cutscenes will make you laugh, and if you put the instruction booklets in an active compost bin, you'll help the earth!
the bad: everything else about this game.
well, THIS GAME IS TOTAL **** !!!!!!! don't buy it! don't rent it! don't ever play it! if you want a good rpg on the ds, get zelda phantom hourglass! it's better than this!
