I remember first buying this game - I was on the train coming home from Croydon (UK) and I actually ripped it open to take a closer look at the very stylish cartridge. A great addition in itself. But of course that would all be the start...

Being a big fan of Sonic in the 1st place, and adding Knuckles to the picture after seeing him make a few appearances in Sonic 3, there surely would've been nothing but good to come from this game. And it didn't fail to impress. The gameplay was exciting, the level design was at it's best, and the music was just beautiful. Everything about the game is perfect.

My own wish would be for Sega to go back to making consoles. That would be a very explosive era indeed.
