I asked my GameStop and I wasn't so sure if I could trust him or not but the clerk did tell me it would release in January 11 of 2013... I still think its bull****!

Hey....the Yakuza series and Sonic Generations are amazing game. This game is also absolutely amazing on the consoles as well.

I don't trust this. It also says the Vita version will be available tomorrow, but it's scheduled for 12/18 (unless there was a sudden last min change).
I'm so confused, think I'll call my Gamestop now...

My gamestop says Feb 12 and my BestBuy will only accept preorders, with a shipping date 2 days ago :/
Seems it's been delayed which is too bad because I wanted to see how they incorporated the 3D effects in this game.

Sonic Heroes was really good too but it wasn't until Shadow The Hedgehog and Sonic '06 when he sank down (green) hill. I pay less attention to it especially when I heard that Yuji Naka and the original Sonic Team had ditched SEGA which was a very obvious sign (to me) Sonic The Hedgehog was going to fall apart. I always thought as a kid that Sonic Adventure 2 on the DC would be the last Sonic game ever especially with that "rest easy heroes" message in the credits of the last story... I was so convinced that the game would be the last ever Sonic game that I cried a little.
