I am sorry but scottish gamer needs be sticken to games in which he owns the console itself because to say it looks worse than super mario brothers is an obvious gamecube basher statement. the game isn't the best think i have ever played though i do think its better than the dreamcast original and better than sonic successor on gamecube. The sound isn't great but its sonic i never play a sonic game expecting to not hear sonic like sounds. Really does anyone do that. The game is a solid chioce if you never played the original and enjoy sonic games. and the storyline isn't the best either but once again has there been a sonic game with a good story line i really don't think so and I am pretty sure i have beaten every sonic game out there including the game gear sonics i mean its normally Dr. Robotnic or some form of him and he is causing minor amounts of havic then you just play through the game and from the perspective that it even has a storyline automatically puts it at the number 2 sonic game ever made. though i do like the originals more but maybe its because i am old fashioned or something.
