Sonic's First Real Jump Into 3D Is A Great one! (Real Score 9.9)
The Graphics are great (for the time).They looked great for the dreamcast,but when the game was ported to the gamecube they upgraded to a even higher standard!Sure,the in-game graphics don't look too great today,but the CG Cutscences still look great to this day!The Graphics are great,Considering the time.
The Voice Acting is some of the best of the sonic franchise,no I'm not one of those dolts who hate the 4kids cast,but the acting is truely good in this game.Yeah there's a few odd lines or bad 90's slang,but beyond that Voice Acting's pretty good.However the real highlight of the Sound section is the Amazing music!All the themes,level music,little tunes,and let's not forget the best Crush 40 song,Open Your Heart!That's just a great song/band!As for the sound effects,they all fit in just fine,and none sound out of place.
The Gameplay is great!in Sonic Adventure you can play as Six different characters:
Sonic - Classic speed based platforming action
Tails - Time limt based platforming with the power to fly for short periods of time thrown in
Knuckles - Treasure Hunting with the power to glide
Amy - Platforming with a hammer and a evil robot chasing you
Gamma - Platforming with some shooting
Big - Fishing
Now those all are great fun and work great.However Big should go screw off and die.In addition to these game modes you can unlock a final battle as Super Sonic,Some old Game Gear Games,and Time Trail Mode as Metal Sonic.With alot to unlock,plenty of great gameplay types(and only one bad one,which is thankfully the shortest one),and only a few glitches this game is great!
The story goes that the great water god,choas grows more powerfull with each Chaos Emerald it devours and Eggman releases it as his own tool of destruction.The story is simple and very cartoony....AKA perfect for a Sonic game.
Controls work perfectly.There really well put together,no complaints here.

So with only problems being a few small glitches and one of the seven gameplay modes being really bad (Big,who is thankfully only like 4 levels long),This game is a perfect jump into 3D!!!
