This is my most favortie Dreamcast game. Sonic Adventure 2 brought me great entertainment when i got a copy of it in summer 2001. This game was the perfect way to end the Dreamcast. You'll really enjoy this game if you find a copy of it. Gameplay: This game is alot better then it's sequal, Sonic Adventure in many ways. The gameplay is more interesting then Sonic Adventure. This time, you can play on the Hero side, or the Dark side. You'll have to play both stories to unlock the Final story. The game takes 3 gaming elements from Sonic Adventure, Running, Shooting, and hunting. plus the chao system is better then before. A Kart racing mode is present as well. one disapointing thing about Sonic Adventure is it had no 2 player! but Sonic Adventure 2 shows it. With these new additions, you'll have more fun on this game then you did on Sonic Adventure. Graphics: When i got this game almost 3 years ago, i was like "WOW! THIS GAME LOOKS PERFECT! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S A DREAMCAST GAME!" And it's ture. This is one of the best looking Dreamcast games on the planet. The textures aren't as good as XBOX or Gamecube's, but they are very good for Dreamcast. This game now runs at 60 frames rather then 30 in Sonic Adventure. The only problem here, is the framerate sometimes slows down when theres alot of action at once. (2P mode runs at 20 by the way) Sound: The music is better then Sonic Adventure in my opinion. The Sound effects are still great, and same with the voice acting. You'll have good soundwork with this game. Conclusion: This was one of Sega's last games on the Dreamcast, and what a hell of agreat game it is! This is a Dreamcast classic to your collection.
