There's several thing good about the game, and some bad things. But a good game overall.

This game is real good. The controls are Sonic Adventure DX-style, where you can use X or B for the same action. The spin dash was changed. You can't gain insane speed by mashing B or X. Now you have to hold one of the buttons down for a little longer than in DX. But you can perform it the same way. The camera is the biggest complaint I have. Except in Rouge's and Knuckles's levels, you can only rotate the camera when you're standing still. It's kinda like a mix between DX's Auto and Free camera options in the pause menu, but much worse. It can cause many unwanted deaths, but as with all other games, you get used to it.
Buy or rent? Just because of the camera, rent the game first.
